Summary
Collins finds that while It's Happy Bunny's slogans in their line of T-shirts seems straightforward and offensive, it turns out that this has unexpectedly deep roots, which grew out of the pre-war practice of college athletic departments stenciling, say, "Property of Virginia Tech" on their athletic shirts. He observes that not much has changed--the slogan T-shirt comes and goes and comes back again, as do the T-shirts and the slogans themselves.
